25 quick doodles for the homestuck vol.10 soundtrack album!
like i said, i tried to draw them only while the soundtrack is playing(even though some took 1-2 minutes more ;u;), so most of them are 4-7 minute drawings :’) some came out really well, while some were..not so good.(the result of castle is just cringey man) some were inspired by the cover art, some are just stuff that popped into my head when i heard the music.
i loved the new album, and i really loved how a lot of artists that’d been in the fandom for some time had contributed to it. It’s sad to think that this will probably be the last album, but it felt like a wrap-up for homestuck, and i guess im content with that :’)
Oh man, this is SUCH a difficult question. I imagine that a research team would collectively name the species - maybe with priority going to the person who actually caught/found the holotype specimen, or to the person who spent the most time describing it.
If I were to discover a new species and name it, I would totally either be one of those people who spends literal years researching latin declensions and words to find the perfect descriptive name that also sounds cool
OR
I would be that person who doesn’t take it seriously and names it a pun or something equally ridiculous because I Am A Scientist I Do What I Want even though it would be hard to follow up such excellent contenders such as
queer policemen and fbi agents walking hand in hand with their partners and spouses.

When tall people are sad and they try to make themselves smaller by hunching or wrapping themselves around a small person but they just look like a forlorn giraffe
In Austria, we call kittens at that age “Autodromkatzerl”, which translates to “bumper car kittens”, because of the way their tail sticks up. It’s not a really common word, but a very cute one, I think

I hate this because I was going through my posts looking for something and I saw this again and I didn’t remember why I took this screenshot BUT THEN I SAW IT.
“I was in a fraternity when I was in college. We’d always try to be funny and shoot each other down. And I never really stopped being that way. I’ve been sarcastic my whole life. I always had something witty to say. I didn’t care whose feelings got hurt as long as I got a good laugh. I didn’t care much about maintaining relationships. It was ‘take it or leave it.’ But I got lung cancer recently, and nobody came to visit me when I was in the hospital. That really got me thinking. I don’t take my relationships for granted anymore. I’m much more careful with my words now. I don’t want to upset anybody. I listen a lot more. I try to appreciate everyone who takes the time to speak to me.”

Im also trying to figure out how to draw Rue. Mew is harder to draw than what I originally thought :“ ) i don’t want rue to have a big snootie anymore. Big teeth and paws only.
